The 200 Duke has been for an update for a long time, and KTM is going all gung ho with the features

Quick Highlights:

  • 2025 KTM 200 Duke Spied

  • Will get the TFT and switchgear from the 390 Duke

  • Expect a price hike of Rs 4,000-5,000

The Austrian motorcycle brand, KTM is set to launch the 2025 Duke 200. Spy shots have been leaked of the Duke 200 from dealerships and they show that the motorcycle will receive a much needed upgrade for the 2025 version.

The 2025 Duke 200 has been spied with a TFT screen borrowed from its elder sibling, the Duke 390. It is a 5-inch TFT screen. The Duke 200, does not get the same features list as the Duke 390; like the launch control and cornering ABS. So we expect the TFT screen on the upcoming Duke 200 to be slightly tweaked for features it offers. Along with the TFT screen, the upcoming Duke 200 will also borrow the switchgear from the Duke 390 too. The Duke 390 gets back lit switches which makes the switches visible in low-light conditions as well. Apart from that, the upcoming Duke 200 is also expected to get new colours to give it a refreshed look and set it apart from its siblings.

Outgoing Duke 200 for refrence

The Duke 200 will most likely continue to be powered by the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine which makes 25PS at 10,000rpm and 19.3Nm at 8,000rpm paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets a split-trellis frame, suspension duties are handled by a USD fork and 10-step preload adjustable monoshock. The Duke 200 rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends and tips the scale at 159kg kerb. Ground clearance is 155mm and the seat height stands at 822mm. Features include, a switchable rear ABS, LCD screen for the current model and LED lights all around.

All said, it’s noteworthy that the current 250 Duke still gets a monochrome LCD screen. We think, after giving the Duke 200 a much needed update, the Duke 250 too, could get the same TFT screen. Expect a price hike of Rs 4,000-5,000 on the current ex-showroom price of the Duke 200 which is Rs 1,98,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
