The choices include a sporty scooter, an ADV, a supersport and more

Bajaj has expanded the lineup of its biggest Pulsars yet, the Pulsar N250 and F250, with dual channel ABS variants which come only in a new all-black colour scheme. The new dual channel ABS-equipped Pulsar N250 is priced at Rs 1,49,978 (ex-showroom Delhi). But, if that is not enough for you, you can check out these offerings available in India that are priced similarly.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (Rs 1,44,740) dual channel ABS

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the sportiest and the most feature-packed naked motorcycle in the 200cc segment. Apart from good looks, the streetfighter also packs strong performance with a 197.7cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder motor. It produces 20.82PS at 9000rpm and 17.25Nm at 7250rpm, which is noticeably less than the Pulsar N250’s 24.5PS and 21.5Nm. However, it makes up for the performance with a range of features including ride modes, Bluetooth connectivity, dual channel ABS and so on.

Honda CB200X (Rs 1,46,499)

For the adventure and off roading lovers, the Honda CB200X makes for the perfect alternative, that too at Rs 3,500 less. The CB200X road-based tourer with the ability to hit light trails, is based on the Hornet 2.0. While it does not flaunt a lot of features, it looks much like an adventure bike, with an upright seating posture.

At about Rs 11,000 less, you could opt for the Yamaha Aerox 155 performance-oriented scooter. It is not only fun to ride, but the CVT transmission paired to the Yamaha R15 V4’s liquid-cooled mill makes it an incredible performer. If that wasn’t enough, it gets maxi-scooter styling, making it look properly sporty and packs a tonne of features.

Yamaha R15S (Rs 1,59,900)

At a Rs 10,000 premium, you could go with the sportiest small-displacement supersport, the Yamaha R15S. It packs the track performance in a more comfortable package with a single long seat setup. It is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled mill that produces 18.6PS and 14.1Nm. It gets Yamaha’s variable valve actuation (VVA), which enables the bike to deliver strong torque even at lower RPMs.

Suzuki Gixxer SF (Rs 1,35,400)

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is the faired iteration of the Suzuki Gixxer streetfighter. It is powered by a 155cc air-cooled engine and is the perfect alternative for new riders to hone their skills before going to a bigger motorcycle. It doesn't pack a lot of features, however, it does come for almost Rs 15,000 less.

All prices ex-showroom Delhi.
