The test mule in question looks closer to a production-spec model which is likely to be unveiled at the 2022 EICMA show in Milan in November. Powering the Himalayan 450 LC will be a 450cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is a first for Royal Enfield. In terms of numbers and figures, we expect the ADV to produce around 43.5PS and 37Nm, similar to its primary rival, the KTM 390 Adventure.

The Himalayan 450 LC has been spied on multiple times already, and by now we know that it gets some premium hardware including a USD front fork and a swingarm-mounted monoshock suspension setup in the rear. Head here for all the details on the ADVs underpinnings.

With all the premium bits that it flaunts, the Himalayan 450 LC is likely to bear a price tag of Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom), going up against the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
