The month of August has been quite an eventful one with lots of new motorcycles and scooters being launched by various two-wheeler manufacturers. Let’s take a look at all of them below:
Hero MotoCorp
A legend of the Indian two-wheeler world made a comeback this August when Hero MotoCorp launched the all-new Karizma XMR.
The Hero Glamour got a much-needed update which now makes its 125cc engine OBD 2 and E20-compliant. Check out the claimed mileage, price and other details of the bike here.
Hero also took the wraps off the new Destini Prime, making this variant the most affordable Destini on sale right now.

Ola Electric
On August 15 (Independence Day), Ola made a slew of big announcements and among them was the launch of the Ola S1 X. Also launched in the same event was the new Ola S1 Pro Gen 2. As for the Ola S1 Air, it has received over 50,000 bookings so far and deliveries have also started in more than 100 cities in the country. Check out all the details here.
TVS
The highly-anticipated production TVS X electric scooter was launched on August 23 and we are thankful that the design of the sporty e-scooter has not veered too far from the Creon concept showcased years ago. All that tech and design comes at a hefty price tag, though.
TVS also launched a Super Squad Edition variant of the Raider 125, which got paintjobs inspired by two Marvel superheroes.
The TVS Jupiter ZX’s drum variant got smartphone connectivity features when the Hosur-based bikemaker launched the Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect.
KTM
Yes, we know the launch of these motorcycles is due in September, but how can you ignore it when KTM unveiled the all-new 2024 models of the 390 Duke, 250 Duke and 125 Duke, that too with updates from top to bottom! Check out the juicy details of the bikes here.
Honda
Honda launched the SP160 this month, which is a sportier version of the Unicorn 160.
The Honda Hornet 2.0 got an update which means its 184cc engine is now BS6.2/OBD-2 compliant. It also got new colour options along with an assist and slipper clutch.
Honda also gave the Livo the same OBD2 update, which has also resulted in a small price hike.
Continuing with the updates, Honda launched the 2023 CD110 Dream Deluxe. Changes include the same 109.51cc single-cylinder engine now being BS6.2-compliant, new colour schemes and a price hike of Rs 2,267 over its predecessor.
Ultraviolette
Ultraviolette launched the limited model of the F77, called the Space Edition. It was limited to only 10 units, with all of them already sold out in just 90 seconds! It was developed to honour ISRO’s achievements over the years.
Tork Motors
Tork Motors launched a new variant of the Kratos R, called the Urban. Check out the most affordable Tork e-bike here.
Godawari Electric Motors
