Hero MotoCorp has taken a leaf out of Royal Enfield’s playbook and launched the Xclan, a riding club dedicated solely for Hero XPulse 200 owners. Hero says the inaugural chapters will be rolled out in Dehradun, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Cochin and Mumbai, and will then add more cities (including tier II and III) in the latter half of 2022.
The annual membership cost for the Xclan stands at Rs 2,000 per rider, and the membership will include an onboarding kit, invitation to rides and rally events across India, and a complimentary Hero Goodlife Platinum Membership. The Goodlife Platinum Membership comes with several bonuses including sales and service vouchers, discounts on accessories and merchandise, special offers on online shopping platforms, among others.
This is a great move by Hero MotoCorp as the company goes beyond the business of selling a motorcycle. Moreover, the XPulse 200 is designed to explore the roads less travelled, and offroading is always fun (not to mention a lot safer) in company. In related news, we recently got a chance to go offroading with Yezdi, and here’s our man Praveen’s experience.
