Turkey generates a huge demand for affordable small-capacity motorcycles. Hence, brands like Hero MotoCorp plug that gap by launching their popular models there. In a recent move, Hero has launched the Euro 5-compliant Xpulse 200 4V adventure bike, and Dash 110 and Dash 125 scooters to further expand its portfolio in the Eurasian country.
The Xpulse 200 has garnered considerable popularity for its capable form, versatile functionality and affordability. The Dash 110 and 125 are essentially rebranded iterations of the Hero Maestro Edge 110 and Maestro Edge 125. However, while these have been on sale in Turkey for some time now, these new models are Euro-5 (BS6) compliant.
The Xpulse 200 4V sold in Turkey makes 18.65PS and 17.35Nm. That is a shade less power than the India-spec Xpulse which churns out 19.1PS and 17.35Nm. That said, the Turkish Xpulse also gets a different headlight where the DRLs illuminate to make an ‘H’, a nice little touch. The Dash 110 makes 8.15PS and 8.7Nm, whereas the bigger Dash 125 makes 9.10PS and 10.4Nm, which correspond to their respective Indian counterparts.
