KTM India recently announced on their social media channels that they are offering the 250 Duke at a discounted rate. The KTM 250 Duke priced at Rs 2,45,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) gets a price cut of Rs 20,000 and is now Rs 2,25,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The KTM 250 Duke is available in a single variant and three colour options: Dark Galvano, Electric Orange and Atlantic Blue. It is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 31PS at 9,250rpm and 25Nm at 7,250rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The 250 Duke gets a steel trellis frame which is the same as the 390 Duke and a die-cast aluminium subframe. The naked bike is equipped with a 43mm WP APEX big piston inverted fork at the front and a preload-adjustable WP APEX monoshock at the rear. The braking setup includes a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc brake, with dual-channel ABS. It also features a supermoto ABS mode, that turns off the rear ABS and allows you to slide the bike around while off-roading.
The KTM 250 Duke rides 17-inch alloy wheels; a 110-section front and 150-section rear tyre. It gets a 15-litre fuel tank capacity, 176mm ground clearance, and a 162.8kg kerb weight. The bike also has an optional 800mm or 820mm seat height.
In terms of features, KTM recently updated the 250 Duke which now gets a 5-inch TFT display which gets two riding modes: Street and Track, updated switchgear and LED DRLs. Other features include turn-by-turn navigation, display modes, a type-C charging port, call/SMS alerts, headset pairing and ride-by-wire throttle.
The KTM 250 Duke is a great option for anyone who is upgrading from a 150cc motorcycle. It offers a great engine, a well-balanced chassis, and a plethora of features.
