The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450 is going to be the second motorcycle to be built on the manufacturer’s new 450cc platform and the roadster has been spied once again.
As we can see from the spy shots, the upcoming Hunter 450’s styling is similar to that of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 with the round headlight and the round tank design along with the contoured single-piece seat. The sleek side panel and the tail section, however, looks similar to that of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, with the tail light integrated into the LED turn indicators. It also gets the same exhaust design as well. We spotted the same details when the upcoming bike was spotted nearly a couple months back.
Coming back to the front, the headlight is expected to be an LED unit and the round TFT instrument console will likely be the same unit found in the Himalayan 450. The upcoming Hunter 450 will get a telescopic fork with fork gaiters and a monoshock. Judging by the spy shots, it looks like the bike will get 17-inch wheels at both ends and the same alloy wheel design as that of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450 will be powered by the Himalayan 450’s all-new 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, Sherpa engine producing 40.02PS and 40Nm. It is expected to be launched with a price tag of about Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and will likely be launched by the end of 2024. The roadster will then rival the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440 and the QJ Motor SRC 500.
