This week, a lot of new details were revealed about some upcoming bikes. If you missed out on the action this week, here’s a quick glance of the top 5 bike news:
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125 was spotted testing this week. This time around, we got to see the rear panel’s sharp styling, suggesting that it will get a sleek tail section similar to that of the Bajaj Pulsar N150. Also spotted was the single-piece aluminium grab rail, muscular fuel tank, fork covers for the telescopic fork and more.
Bajaj Auto confirmed this week that the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike will be launched on July 5. Also, the bike was teased for the first time as well, revealing its long and flat single-piece seat and raised handlebar with knuckle guards. Interestingly, Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Minister for Road Transport and Highways, will be attending the launch event.
In a document filed for IPO (Initial Public Offering) purposes, Ola Electric mentioned that deliveries of the upcoming electric bikes from the EV maker are expected to happen in the first half of fiscal year 2026, which means that the launch could be expected to happen sometime between April and September 2025. The EV maker revealed four electric bikes in August last year: Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster, and Cruiser. We think that the first bike to be launched will be an affordable and commuter-ish one, likely to be the Ola Roadster.

Recently, two separate incidents surfaced on the internet where the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450’s chassis broke while riding. Addressing this issue, Royal Enfield said that the chassis broke because aftermarket crash guards were installed in those bikes, which interfered with how the chassis handles the stress around the mounting points. The bike maker has since recommended using their GMA (Genuine Motorcycle Accessories) crash guards. Check out the detailed pictorial explanation of the issue and Royal Enfield’s explanation and solution for the same in our story here.
The Yamaha RX 100. That legendary bike with that iconic soundtrack. It is adored by lots of people even today, and Eishin Chihana, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India, talked about the difficulties of making a modern avatar of the Yamaha RX100. The bike was loved for its package of being lightweight and offering exciting performance. And that iconic soundtrack was possible back then because the bike was powered by a 2-stroke motor but it is near impossible to replicate that now with a 4-stroke motor.
