The streetfighter will get styling elements that’ll make it standout in the presence of its faired sibling

Just a couple of weeks after the TVS X electric scooter’s launch, we are once again gearing up for another launch from the Hosur-based marque. And this time, it is the all-new Apache RTR 310

The upcoming TVS streetfighter has been spied and teased several times by the manufacturer. And as such, we have a fairly good idea of what it’d look like and what it’ll be packing underneath. From when it was spied for the first time and also the second time, we got to know that the RTR 310 will get taillights designed to look like two vertical strips, a USD fork and monoshock suspension setup (expected to be adjustable) and disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS expected to come as standard. It’ll come with a floating licence plate holder and rear indicators and the same exhaust found in the Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS

The third round of spy shots revealed that the bike will get a split-seat setup, rear-set footpegs and an aggressive riding stance. We concurred from a teaser shared by TVS that the Apache RTR 310 will not be just a rebadged BMW G 310 R but a completely new design from the Hosur-based manufacturer. The bike will get adjustable sharp-looking tank extensions and adjustable levers, as confirmed here.

Powering the upcoming bike will be a 312.7cc, reverse-inclined, single-cylinder engine that is also seen on the Apache RR 310 but with a different tuning setup. The TVS Apache RTR 310 can now be pre-booked with a token amount of Rs 3,100 and will likely get a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, BMW G 310 R, Keeway K300N and the Honda CB300R.
