The November 7th launch date for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is just about more than a week away and now the manufacturer has teased the ADV being ridden in the Himalayas.
The motorcycle looks absolutely natural in that environment, which is obvious since it’s made for that and the sleeker panels and fuel tank design (compared to the current Himalayan) look really good in the teaser. We already know how the bike looks from when it was first revealed by Royal Enfield. It gets a redesigned fender and a split-seat setup among other changes.
The ADV will have a kerb weight of 196kg and will be powered by a 451.65cc, liquid-cooled engine producing 40PS at 8,000rpm. The wheelbase will be longer at 1,510mm and an overall height of 1,316mm.
We expect the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 to get a price tag of about Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and its rivals will be the KTM 390 Adventure (spoke wheel variant) and the upcoming Hero Xpulse 400.
