The year saw an action-packed start with a bunch of launches, including the much-awaited trio of Yezdi bikes, and the Tork Kratos. February seems no different, with some highly anticipated two-wheelers set to grace our shores:
Royal Enfield Scram 411
RE promised to deliver a new motorcycle every quarter for six years, and with the last launch being the Classic 350, it's about time that the Scram made its debut. And the timing couldn’t be better, with the Yezdi Adventure and Scrambler entering the market, and the Himalayan becoming dearer.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure
The Austrian marque launched the updated 250 Adventure in January, and the debut of the bigger sibling will follow this month. If you have been planning to buy the 390 Adventure, holding off for now will reward you with new colours and stronger alloy wheels for the bike.
2022 KTM RC 390
The thoroughly updated RC 125 and RC 200 are here already, but KTM kept the RC 390 on hold…until now. From new, lighter bodywork and components to improved electronics and performance, the updated RC 390 has it all. Expect it to make its India debut towards the end of this month.
Ducati Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss Edition
Who wouldn’t fancy a limited edition Ducati, right? The Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss Edition isn’t just eye candy, but also 3kg lighter, courtesy its lithium-ion battery and single-seat setup. Furthermore, the Showa and Sachs suspension components have been replaced by Ohlins NX30 fork and TTX36 monoshock. If you are already in awe of this bike, you can book one right away.
Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro
As a homage to the OG Ducati Scrambler from the ‘70s, the Italian manufacturer has dished out the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro. From its iconic yellow colour, tan seat and wire-spoke rims, everything is reminiscent of the older model. Bookings are already underway for this model across Ducati dealerships.
2022 Kawasaki Versys 650
The mid-displacement ADV from Japan now not just features new bodywork, but also an all-LED headlight setup, four-step adjustable windscreen and a new 4.3-inch TFT display. But the highlight of the 2022 Versys 650 has to be the new two-level, switchable traction control. Expect this bike to arrive in the second half of the month.
Kawasaki Z 50th Anniversary Lineup
Team Green recently celebrated the golden jubilee of the ‘Z’ lineup with the introduction of special edition models of the Z650, Z650RS and Z900. Now, the Indian wing of Kawasaki has already begun teasing the launch, hinting that the bikes could arrive in the first half of the month.
Hero MotoCorp Electric Scooter
Last year, the Indian two-wheeler giant gave us a glimpse of its e-scooter, and revealed that it will hit the streets by March 2022. Now, with Hero MotoCorp already having filed as many as six trademarks for ‘Vida’, we reckon that the electric scooter may debut towards the end of this month.
