No change in features or styling.
The two new X3 variants are priced at Rs 67.50 lakh and Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
BMW has given the X3 a variant shuffle by adding two new diesel variants to the SUV’s lineup. The Luxury Line Diesel trim, which was added to the lineup in February 2022 has been replaced by the xDrive20d xLine trim, while there’s also a new top-of-the-line M Sport trim. Here are the prices of the new variants:
Variants |
Price (ex-showroom) |
Luxury Line (Now Discontinued) |
Rs 65.50 lakh |
xDrive20d xLine |
Rs 67.50 lakh |
xDrive20d M Sport |
Rs 69.90 lakh |
Previously, the X3 diesel was only available in the Luxury Line trim. That has been chucked and replaced by the new xDrive20d xLine and xDrive20d M Sport. Although the variants are new, there are no changes in the powertrain specifications of the SUV and here are the deets:
The 2-litre turbodiesel engine marches on with an output of 190PS and 400Nm. The powertrain is geared using an eight-speed automatic, which transfers the power to all four wheels using the xDrive system. Nought to 100kmph comes up in 7.9 seconds and the acceleration continues all the way up to 213kmph.
There aren’t any changes with regard to features as the rejig is only limited to the variants of the SUV. However, there are styling differences between the two new trims with the xDrive20d M Sport getting sportier M-specific cues like the gloss chrome finish for the side panels and tailpipes and gloss-black finish for the grille and window graphics.

The cabin also gets the same treatment as before and has features like 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic glass roof, Harman Kardon surround sound system, a rear-view camera, six airbags, and ISOFIX child mounts. Just like the exclusive exterior bits, the M Sport trim also features different cabin bits like the sport seats, bespoke leather steering wheel, and sportier interior trims.
