Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has revealed the mildly facelifted Range Rover Evoque in markets abroad. As part of the MY24 update, the entry-level Range Rover has received some mild design tweaks, technological updates, and improved mild and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Here’s everything you need to know about it:
The Range Rover Evoque was already one of the better looking models in its range - not too flamboyant, but rather sophisticatedly premium. That appeal of the Evoque has been further enhanced with the minor styling revisions which bring in the carmaker’s new signature grille along with an even sleeker set of headlights incorporating new elements and DRL graphics.
Its side and rear profiles have been left untouched, but its colour palette now sports three new hues, namely Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue and Corinthian Bronze. Options for the dual tone roof include Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze. You further get eight new alloy wheel designs that go up to 21-inch (only for mild-hybrid variants) in size.
Found the exterior to be rather clean and sophisticated? The level of design harmony takes to another level on the inside. Gone is the split screen setup. Instead, there’s a single 11.4-inch infotainment system, which according to the carmaker, offers access to 80% of all possible tasks just through two taps of the home screen.
Because there isn’t any secondary screen or dials or knobs (centre console is effectively button-free) present on the central console, there’s a bigger stowage space on offer, while wireless charging is now a standard feature.
Speaking of features, you get a fully digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, air filter, and a 3D 360-degree camera.

While the entire lineup is now paired to a 48-V mild-hybrid system, the plug-in hybrid powertrain has been tweaked for more efficiency. P300e electric hybrid makes use of a 14.9kWh battery pack, which is paired to a 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol unit. They combine to produce 313PS and 540Nm of output and boast a pure-EV WLTP-claimed range of up to 62km.

It supports fast DC charging, while a 7kW home charger will take around two hours to fully charge a completely drained battery. Of course, being a Range Rover, all the powertrains are paired to an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
The updated Range Rover Evoque should make its way to India soon and it’ll likely carry a premium over the current model, which retails at Rs 72.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It’ll rival the likes of the BMW X3, Mercedes Benz GLC, and Audi Q5.
