2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport With Minor Facelift Launched At Rs 67.90 Lakh

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport in India. The refreshed SUV starts from Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in both petrol and diesel powertrain options. It gets a minor design update on the outside and has got a handful of feature additions and enhancements. 

Price

The 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport is available in a single Dynamic SE trim. Compared to the outgoing model’s R-Dynamic SE trim, this is a slight step down. However it comes with a reduced pricing as well.

Design of the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport 

In terms of exterior design, the SUV gets minor cosmetic updates over the outgoing model. These include a new gloss black front grill, updated LED headlights and tail lamps along with a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels. Changes are so minor that you need a keen eye to spot the differences. 

On the inside, however, the first change you’ll notice is the new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment screen. Almost all the functions, including the climate controls, are bunched into it. As a result, the cabin now looks more minimalistic. You also get a revised steering wheel and an updated gear selector. Other features on the Land Rover Discovery Sport include a digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, air purifier, multi-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, and a digital rearview mirror.

Customers can opt for up to 7 seats in the new Discovery Sport. Further, the second row can slide and recline independently in a 40:20:40 configuration leading to a maximum of 24 different seat layouts. All the rows are equipped with dual USB C charging ports. 

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport : Powertrain

JLR is offering customers a choice of a 2-litre petrol or a 2-litre diesel mill. The former is good for 248 PS and 365 Nm while the latter develops 203 PS and 430 Nm. Both these engines are paired with an automatic gearbox that sends power to all the four wheels.
