The RC GP duo doesn’t demand a premium of over their standard counterparts

After teasing its special edition supersport last week, KTM has launched the RC 390 GP and RC 200 GP in India. Interestingly, the bikes receive no change in price, retailing at Rs 3,16,070 and Rs 2,14,688 (both ex-showroom Delhi) for the RC 390 and the RC 200 respectively.

The KTM RC 390 GP and RC 200 GP come draped in the KTM Tech3 team’s MotoGP livery. They feature an all-orange paint job, complemented by a contrast black livery consisting of the Premiere Class team’s sponsors. KTM has even given the exhaust system and alloy wheels a blacked-out treatment. Lastly, the bikes receive smoked windscreen.

Both bikes do not feature any mechanical changes and continue to be powered by the same 199cc and 373.2cc engine for the RC 200 and the RC 390 respectively. Even the hardware on both remains unchanged.

The KTM RC 390 GP and the RC 200 GP’s pricing makes these bikes an interesting proposition, considering that most manufacturer’s charge a premium for special edition liveries. While these GP editions certainly look appealing, we would have loved to see a preload-adjustable fork on the RC 390 GP.
