We sound like a broken record by now, thanks to these constant price hikes but here’s yet another one. Bajaj’s BS6 Dominar range will have you digging deep into your pockets. The new premium for the Dominar 400 pushes its price to Rs 1,99,755. As for the Dominar 250, it now costs Rs 1,67,718, around Rs 2,000 more than the previous asking price. Here’s the new price list for 2021:

This isn’t the first price hike and it certainly won’t be the last. The updated Dominar 400’s price has risen by almost Rs 27,000 since its launch in 2019, making it less accessible for enthusiasts on a budget. There are several other options you could look at around the same price point. Take the Honda H’Ness CB350, for instance, it’s gorgeous to look at and packs a refined motor backed by Honda’s reliability quotient. Despite the recent price hike, it’s still cheaper than the Dominar 400.

That said, the surge in price for the Dominar range could have a silver lining. Bajaj recently trademarked the name Neuron, which could be for its new smartphone connectivity feature. The recent price revision will help bridge the price gap between the current model and the upcoming bike.
