Bajaj may soon launch a number of touring accessories for the Dominar 400 and Dominar 250. The former was recently spotted at the Pune plant with a couple of new touring add-ons that should improve its overall rideability. The same bits are likely to be offered on the quarter-litre tourer as well since they share the same design.
As for the accessories, the Dominar 400 was seen with a new tall windscreen which should be perfect for touring. The second set of add-ons include a pair of handlebar protectors which will not only protect your hands but also prevent the brake or clutch lever from bending in case of a fall. Whether or not these are OEM parts is currently unknown. Nevertheless, it will surely improve the bike’s touring capabilities.
The third-party market is already swamped with accessories designed specifically for the Dominar range. You can choose from pannier mounts and handlebar risers to an entire Explorer body kit from Autologue. Read more about it here.
If you want to step things up a notch, you could throw in a pair of auxiliary lights, a backrest, a bash plate, and maybe even jerry cans -- all of which are currently available in the market.
Expect Bajaj to launch these accessories in the coming weeks for an expected price ranging between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000. On a similar subject, the Dominar 250 recently received a massive price cut, making it a lot more accessible to the masses. Head here to check it out.
