…and this one’ll leave a bigger hole in your pocket
As the financial year draws to a close, price hikes aren’t really a surprise around this time of the year. Recently, Kawasaki announced that its lineup is getting costlier, and now our sources have revealed that Honda is also set to bump up the price of its retro-thumper, the H’Ness CB350. The ex-showroom prices are expected to go up by Rs 4,000 -- which, paired with new registration charges, might bump up its on-road prices by almost Rs 5,000.
Surprisingly, the CB350’s sporty twin, the CB350RS has been spared this price hike. So now the ex-showroom price difference between these two variants is down to half what it was before: to the tune of Rs 5,000.
Even with the hike, the CB350 remains one of the most likeable bikes in its segment, with features like traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, slipper clutch, and full-LED lighting. It is powered by a 348cc single-cylinder motor producing 21PS and 30Nm. Read our review to find out how the CB350 performs in the real-world.
In other news, the CB350’s arch rival, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, is set to receive an update for 2021. It was recently spotted testing as well.
