The power plant has been mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it also gets the benefit of slipper clutch. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is locally assembled with minor localisation. The Ninja 300 KRT Edition competes against the likes of the Yamaha R3, KTM RC390 and the Hyosung GT250R.
