Porsche has listed the facelifted Panamera on its official Indian website. While prices are yet to be revealed, we have learnt that it will be offered in four variants: Base, GTS, Turbo S and Turbo S E-hybrid. The bonkers Turbo S, with its massive V8 engine, is the fastest executive sedan around the ‘Ring, covering the Green Hell in 7 minutes and 29.81 seconds!
The updated Panamera’s design looks similar to the pre-facelift model. You’ll have to take a long, hard look to figure out what’s new. For starters, the bumpers feature aggressive air intakes and new LED DRLs while the tail lamps have been slightly redesigned. The profile remains the same as before, but you can spruce it up with new 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels. While the Panamera comes in three body styles, the India-spec model will come as a sedan with two wheelbase options.
Not much has changed on the inside, but the Panamera’s infotainment system now comes with wireless Apple CarPlay, road sign and hazard information as well as improved online voice control. The cabin remains a well-appointed place with bits from other Porsches such as the analogue tacho that takes centre stage flanked by digital screens as well as the sleek 3-spoke steering wheel from the 911.

The facelifted Porsche Panamera will be imported to India as a CBU. It’s no surprise that the manufacturer was quick to list it on the official website after its global debut in August. It could be priced from Rs 1.5 crore and fight it out with Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-door and the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe.
