Bajaj Pulsar 150
Pros and Cons of Pulsar 150
- The fans still like the iconic design
- Slightly sporty yet comfy riding posture
- Has become pretty pricey today
- Not everyone will dig the dated looks
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 stands as a solid choice in the entry-level 150cc segment, consistently delivering commendable performance coupled with a touch of sportiness. Its appeal primarily lies in this blend of power and aggression, striking a chord with younger riders. However, one area where it could see improvement is its feature list, particularly connected features, which would undoubtedly enhance its overall package. Nevertheless, it retains its status as a sporty, versatile motorcycle.

Design: The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has retained its iconic design over the years, characterized by its aggressive front end, muscular tank, sleek tail section, and a variety of appealing color options. This design exudes a sporty and energetic aura.
Features: The 2024 update brings a new LCD instrument console to the Pulsar 150 with Bluetooth connectivity. It is the same one as the Pulsar N160. The TD variant also gets dual-channel ABS for added safety. The bike also comes with backlit switchgear and while the headlight with two pilot lamps and blinkers uses halogen bulbs, the tail lamp is equipped with LED lighting.
Engine: Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 150 is a single-cylinder, 149.5cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected DTS-i engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox. This powerplant delivers 14PS of power and 13.25Nm of torque. Suspension duties are handled by a 37mm telescopic front fork in the twin-disc variant and a 31mm unit in the single-disc variant. Both variants feature twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers. Braking is managed by a 280mm front disc, 230mm rear unit in the twin-disc variant and a 260mm front disc and 130mm rear drum in the single-disc variant. While the single disc variant comes with single-channel ABS, the TD variant gets dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with the single-disc variant featuring 80-section front and 100-section rear tubeless tires, while the twin-disc variant boasts wider 100-section front and 120-section rear tubeless rubbers. Rivals: The Bajaj Pulsar 150 faces off against formidable rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 160, and the Honda Unicorn.
Variants: The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is available in two variants, both sharing similar mechanical specifications but differing in design elements. The single-disc variant features a single-piece seat and a single-piece pillion grab handle, while the premium variant offers split-type seats with split grab rails. The twin-disc variant, known for its sporty look, also comes with a slightly lower-set clip-on handlebar but lacks the engine kick-starter.
