  • Q. Is it compulsory to use octane 91 fuel in Bajaj Dominar 400? Most of the petrol stations have only lower octane. Will it cause any problem in the engine if i use lower octane fuel /normal fuel?

    No, it is not mandatory to use high octane fuel in the Bajaj Dominar 400. Using the regular petrol with lower octane value will not have any adverse effects on the engine.

    Yes!!! You must fill fuel in your dominar 400 with 91 octane as it mentioned in user manual. It is also benefitial for your premium bike’s Fuel Pump in a long term.Every premium petrol is available on petrol stations but only HP Power adds additives to make it 91 octane.

    Not necessary you can use normal fuel but be careful check from which petrol bunk petrol is being filled
