2 Kias On The Way To India! Here’s When The Carnival And EV9 Will Be Launched

Kia will  launch the Carnival MPV and EV9 SUV in India on October 3, 2024. These additions will extend the Korean carmaker’s range to 6 cars on our shores. The Carnival will be making a comeback in India in its new-gen avatar, while the EV9 will be the first electric SUV from the Korean brand. For now, let’s take a look at what the two cars offer:

Kia Carnival 

Expected Price: Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Carnival will make a comeback in India after being discontinued last year. It will be the facelifted model of the new-generation version that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. So yes, it will be the latest model with all the bells and whistles.The MPV will feature a revamped design, in adherence to Kia’s modern design language.

It will get a brand new cabin, featuring dual integrated screens and a host of premium features. It will also get multiple seating layouts, which can be catered to individual preferences. Kia EV9

Expected Price: Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom) 

The EV9 full-size electric SUV will be Kia’s second EV on our shores after the EV6, and is expected to be brought in as a fully imported model. The EV9 sports a modern design with aggressively styled elements. It gets a feature-loaded cabin with plenty of niceties. It will likely be available in a three row layout with the probability of multiple seating options. 

The EV9 will likely feature multiple powertrains including an all-wheel drive version paired with dual motors. A claimed range of around 550km can be expected from the full-size SUV. To know more about its details, click here
