Adventure lovers, there’s good news and bad news. Starting with the latter, the Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition has been sold out. The good news? That was just the first lot of bikes, and Hero has confirmed that the next lot is being prepped for launch pretty soon.
Maybe the deal might not be as sweet as it is right now. Currently, the Rally Edition (Rs 1.52 lakh) costs Rs 16,122 more than the standard XPulse 200 4V but the premium for the second lot could be a little higher. Still, it is going to be far more accessible than paying an additional Rs 46,000 for the Rally Kit.
We don’t quite have the booking details or exact timelines for the second lot just yet but it should be just before or during the festive season. To know all about the Rally Edition, check out this story.
In short, though, you get the same XPulse 200 4V adventure bike but with longer suspension components with a bit of adjustability, handlebar risers, a large side stand, special rally team-inspired colours and a special C S Santosh signed sticker on the fuel tank.
What you are missing from the Rally Kit are the Maxxis knobby tyres and the flat bench rally seat. By skipping out on these two items, you aren’t really missing out on much to be honest. So, if you are a bit more serious towards your adventure needs, we would suggest waiting, saving money and being faster when the registrations open for the next lot.
