The biggest Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, knows one thing for sure among other things – How to cater to the Indian mass market. The new year is going to bring a lot of good news for Hero; and well, for us, the enthusiasts, as there are a bunch of very interesting products catering to different segments.
Eyeying Hona Dio’s popularity, Hero plans on launching the Maestro Xoom 110 sporty scooter. The sharp body design will be complemented by the 110cc engine borrowed from the Maestro Edge 110. It may also come with a segment-first feature, find out more details here. Expect it to launch in January 2023 with a price tag of Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom).
After the immense success of the XPulse 200, Hero is set to take things to the next level by introducing a 400cc Indian-made ADV, the XPulse 400. The bike has been spotted testing a couple of times, and honestly, it looks quite enticing and could be a tough competitor to the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Expect Hero to price the XPulse 400 at around Rs 2.70 lakh, ex-showroom, and launch it sometime in early 2023.
Along with the offroader, Hero is also likely to launch the Xtreme 400S faired bike, based on the same engine and platform as the XPulse 400. Likely to be powered by a 421cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, both these bikes will be the biggest and most expensive bikes in Hero’s lineup. It could debut in early 2023 with an expected price tag of Rs 2.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
Apart from these major launches, we also expect Hero to launch more feature-packed Xtec variants for HF Deluxe and Super Splendor. Both commuters should follow the suit of their respective stablemates and get features including a fully digital instrument console and smartphone connectivity.
