After teasing the bike extensively, Hero MotoCorp is set to launch the new XPulse 200 4V tomorrow. The bike was recently spotted testing, followed by its sighting at a dealer event alongside the Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition. After getting to know its launch date, here's our emotional state:
For 2021, the biggest update for the XPulse 200 comes to its engine, which will finally switch to a 4-valve setup from the previous 2-valve motor. This will help the engine rev higher and breathe easier, bumping up the power figures. This will eventually help it cruise at higher speeds, an Achilles’ heel of the current-gen XPulse 200.
The updated XPulse 200 4V will come in new colour options. From what we know so far, these will be: white/blue and blue/black. No other changes have been made to the design.
Now, to the features. The new XPulse 200 will get a new integrated engine start/stop switch, and it’ll retain its digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

According to our sources, Hero will probably offer a separate variant of the 2021 XPulse 200 4V with the Rally Kit installed from the factory.
Accounting for the changes, we reckon the Hero XPulse 200 4V and the Rally Kit version will be priced at around Rs 1.30 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh (all prices ex-showroom), respectively.
