Quick Highlights:
Hero MotoCorp has teased the upcoming Xpulse 210 on their social media handles hinting at EICMA 2024 unveil. The Hero Xpulse 210 was also spied testing earlier this year in Ladakh. The spy shots revealed a lot about the upcoming Xpulse and now after the teaser by the manufacturer, we can expect it to launch soon.
What to Expect?
The Hero Xpulse 210 is expected to get the same engine as the Hero Karizma XMR: a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which makes 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. It's paired to a six-speed transmission and gets a slip-and-assist clutch. Hero could tweak the gear ratios and the sprocket sizes for the Xpulse’s character.
As for the underpinnings, the Hero Xpulse 210 is expected to get a completely new chassis and long-travel suspension to suit its off-roading needs, along with 21 and 17-inch wire-spoke wheels at the front and the back, with knobby tyres. The earlier spyshot revealed a rather large fuel tank. The ADV may get the same LCD console as the current Xpulse 200, to keep the price in check.
India Launch, Price and Rivals
The XPulse 210 will most likely replace the current Hero Xpulse 200 4V and will be offered at a premium over the current price tag of Rs 1,47,391 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Xpulse 210 is expected to be priced around Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be unveiled at EICMA 2024, the bike could be launched in India sometime early next year. It will go against the recently-launched Kawasaki KLX230 and the Yezdi Adventure.
