Quick News Highlights:
- The bigger capacity Continental GT 750 has been spotted testing
- The 750cc engine is likely to be a bored-out version of the current 648cc, inline twin-cylinder motor
- The bike has dual front disc brakes, seen for the first time on a Royal Enfield bike
Royal Enfield has been updating its current lineup and launching new motorcycles at a rapid pace these days. And it seems the manufacturer is working on a bigger capacity cafe racer as the upcoming Continental GT 750 has been spotted testing.
The most eye-catching design element on the test mule is the big, bikini fairing that stretches all the way to the middle portion of the fuel tank. The rest of the design looks similar to the Continental GT 650’s styling with the round LED headlight, dual exhaust system and the retro-ish taillight design. The riding posture with the clip-on handlebars looks more aggressive than the one on the current bike.
Regarding the engine, we think that the 750cc engine on the upcoming Continental GT 750 is a bored-out version of the 648cc, inline twin-cylinder engine powering the manufacturer’s current 650cc models. It produces 47.45PS at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,150rpm. So, the new 750cc engine will likely produce a power figure close to the 60PS mark.
The other big change observed in the spy shots is the dual front disc brake setup. With increased power, the cafe racer will need more stopping power. Hence, the dual disc brakes. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, which is odd considering the new Bear 650 has an inverted fork.

In terms of features, we can see that it gets a single-pod instrument console. But, it’s not very clear whether that is the Super Meteor 650’s semi-digital console or the new TFT console that debuted with the Himalayan 450. The Bear 650 is the first of the 650cc models to get that round TFT console. So, there is a big possibility that the upcoming Continental GT 750 could get that as well. The bigger capacity cafe racer is not expected to be launched anytime soon, with the most likely timeframe to be around the end of 2025.
