Fast Facts About The Benelli TRK 502 BS6

Benelli has kicked off its 2021 innings with the TRK 502 adventure tourer that has finally received its BS6 update. Here's everything you need to know about the new (sort of) bike:

Just As Quick (Almost)

BS6 updates usually have us bracing ourselves for a loss of power, but the TRK has dodged that bullet, retaining the same 47.5PS and 46Nm output from its 500cc parallel-twin motor. That being said, we suspect the bike has put on a few kilos in its transition, so don't be surprised to find marginally slower acceleration figures.

New And Improved

New bits on the updated bike are few and far between, with the BS6 iteration featuring new knuckle guards, a powder-coated handlebar, and a revised top rack. To make the TRK that little bit more comfortable and convenient, Benelli has thrown in a new and slightly broader seat as well as white backlighting for the switchgear and speedometer.

Don't Fix What Ain't Broken

Most of the bike hasn't been messed with, so it's still suspended on an upside-down fork and monoshock. Braking hardware comprises twin discs up front and a single disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS as standard, just like before.

No X-factor

For now, Benelli has only updated the road-focused TRK 502, which rolls on 17-inch wheels wrapped in road-focused tyres. In time, we expect it to be joined by the more off-road focused TRK 502X shod with wire-spoke wheels.

Offer Valid Till Stocks Last

We are pleasantly surprised with the price of the TRK 502 BS6, which, at Rs 4,79,000, is actually Rs 30,100 cheaper than the BS4 version. Before you get ahead of yourself though, this is an introductory price. We expect Benelli to jack it up to around Rs 5.3 lakh in the coming months.
