Benelli India has announced a price revision of its 500cc models at the opening of a new dealership in Jammu. The new prices of the Leoncino 500 and the TRK 502 variants are:

It is quite a hike for the Leoncino 500, especially considering that the bike was launched just last February. Back then, Benelli had sort of sweetened the deal by offering it at a price tag Rs 20,000 lower than what its BS4 counterpart used to ask for. Even now, it is more affordable than the older BS4 bike, though it still comes in at a healthy premium over the aggressively priced Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
It is a similar story with the TRK 502 siblings: they are dearer than what they were at launch but still quite a lot cheaper than their BS4 counterparts, Rs 14,000 to be precise. The TRK 502 still remains a highly attractive purchase for those who want a big ADV but are tight on budget. Here’s our impressions of the BS6 model.
