The bobber features a bunch of changes including revised ergonomics

A new spy shot of the Jawa Perak has surfaced on the Internet and the bike is seen packing a bunch of changes. The updated bobber, likely to be called the Jawa Perak 2.0, could debut in November this year, when Classic Legends celebrates the third year of the resurrection of this iconic Czech brand.

The test mule of the bobber featured a bunch of the subtle yet important changes. One of the biggest changes is the updated ergonomics. Jawa has revised the rider footpeg position, and moved them slightly forward, resulting in a very neutral riding posture, which should make the bike comfortable for taller riders as well.

Another change is the new headlight cowl. Instead of the unit borrowed from the Jawa and the Forty-Two, the updated model is seen donning a very compact unit, likely to be an LED unit. Though not visible in the spy shot, the updated Jawa perak could feature a new instrument console.

Then there’s the new seat, and now the tail light has been moved from under the saddle to the rear fender along with the rear indicators. Lastly, Jawa has now used a beefier front tyre and different exhausts for the updated model. The bike is now even seen flaunting a luggage rack which should make touring with this bike tad easier.

The Jawa Perak could carry a premium of Rs 7,000 over the existing model which retails at Rs 2,09,187 (ex-showroom Delhi). Jawa’s updated bobber will go up against the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda H’Ness CB350 and the Yezdi Roadster and be a slightly affordable alternative to the Keeway Benda V302C.
