Recently Asked User Questions
Q. How is Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 in long rides?
- I was on tour with my n250 to spiti and believe me this didn't even make me feel like tired or something on this long route
- These Bajajs use an air-and-oil-cooled 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that uses 249cc of displacement for its wow quotient. Bajaj says they didn’t use triple-spark tech here as meeting BS6 norms reduces the lean air-fuel mixture combinations which the triple spark setup leveraged. There are no ride modes here either. But it is an all-new engine, sitting 10 degrees from vertical compared to 20 degrees on the P220F. It also has offset crank and bush bearings for the balancer shaft to improve efficiency and refinement. Impressively, the engine makes as much power as the NS200 - and its 21.5Nm of torque is the most we have seen on a Pulsar to date. On the road, the sound, the sensations and the performance are oh-so-220! The sound and feel of the engine have a touch of mechanical rawness. No, it isn’t rough! There’s just a bit of a pulse and roar that makes it feel very Pulsar. As promised the engine has a lot of grunts - which means you can leave it between 3000-4000 rpm for all your city duties. In 4th gear, it will pull from 25kmph easily. Yes, the Pulsar has only five gears but performance isn’t lacking, so if you are planning to do long distances even with a pillion you'll find it lets you relax on the highway as well. Along with the performance, it's the practicality of the Pulsar that has made it so appealing. Its 795m seat height lets 5’6” riders like me put both feet down flat, especially because it feels slim. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Q. For riding in Chennai City r15v3 is good or Thunderbird 350X?
- R15v3
- It's Simple Yamaha R15 V3 is best in Chennai City
- The R15 has always had a singular focus. Performance. That leads to compromise in other aspects like ergonomics. Its sporty riding position comes courtesy of an 815mm high rider seat (up by 15mm over the v2). Despite the taller seat, we did not have an issue placing both feet on the ground. The riding position has become more aggressive and while it worked well on the track, riding in the city for an extended period did leave a minor discomfort in our wrists and upper back. Other than the clip-on, which now feels lower, the low-set footpegs are comfortable and the rest of the bike too didn't give us any reason to complain. You do need to be careful while taking U-turns though as the bars come pretty close to the fuel tank, and your hand getting too close to your knee during full lock does cause some issues. Especially on right-hand U-turns, it’s rather difficult to open the throttle as your wrist is resting on the tank at full lock. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X has been discontinued and is not available for sale in the market. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and riding comfort. - You may have to tip-toe the bike while moving the bike around in the parking lot or in stop-and-go traffic. Moreover
- As per your requirements, we would suggest you to go with the Bajaj Dominar 250. The sports tourer offers a seat height of 800mm which is fairly accessible, however, you may have to tip-toe the bike while moving the bike around in the parking lot or in stop-and-go traffic. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
