I have ridden both the bikes , in r15 you'll be more uncomfortable but theirs linear acceleration you'll get till top end , whereas in scram bottom end is very higher then any other bike you can literally March scram 411 in 2nd gear without giving acceleration , and it's more comfortable good for long rides , look wise I would go for r15 but it's not that torqy you'll feel a huge difference in bottom end in between these two bikes , stability of r15 is good at higher speeds you'll feel like it can go more and more where's in scram it's about till mid end people say r15 is good for city but one speed bump and you'll generations will feel it it's a good only for sport . Better is to go and ride both , but remember scram is really underrated you can just take it anywhere carry as much as you want because I own one !

Both the bikes are good in their forte. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 does 95 percent of the stuff that the Himalayan does. It's lighter steering, easier ergonomics, and tauter suspension make it more capable for newbie riders than the adventure machine. Shame, it doesn’t come with switchable ABS. Yes the new 350 engine is a fantastic engine and it’s a lovely bike. But the new bs6 Scram 411 is still the better bike in my opinion. People confuse the early Himalayan with the latest model and they are different bike for sure the bs6 engine is a piece of mechanical engineering to be proud of. The riding position is excellent on the scram 411 allowing you to cover many miles without fatigue.

The R15 has always had a singular focus. Performance. That leads to compromise in other aspects like ergonomics. Its sporty riding position comes courtesy of an 815mm high rider seat (up by 15mm over the v2). Despite the taller seat, we did not have an issue placing both feet on the ground. The riding position has become more aggressive and while it worked well on the track, riding in the city for an extended period did leave a minor discomfort in our wrists and upper back. Other than the clip-on, which now feels lower, the low-set footpegs are comfortable and the rest of the bike too didn't give us any reason to complain. You do need to be careful while taking U-turns though as the bars come pretty close to the fuel tank, and your hand getting too close to your knee during full lock does cause some issues. Especially on right-hand U-turns, it’s rather difficult to open the throttle as your wrist is resting on the tank at full lock. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X has been discontinued and is not available for sale in the market.
