An old-school classic to a family-oriented electric scooter and a lot more in between!

Hero MotoCorp launched the Xtreme 250R  at Auto Expo 2025. Available in a single variant, the bike is priced at Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is powered by a 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 30PS and 28.5Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Let’s look at some other bikes and scooters which you can buy in the same price range. 

Yamaha R15 V4

Price: Rs 1,83,600 to Rs 1,88,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi)


The Yamaha R15 V4 is a sportbike from the Japanese manufacturer. The bike has a cult-like following because of its performance. It gets a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 18.4PS and 14.2Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike gets an LCD instrument cluster with traction control, dual-channel ABS and riding modes. 

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

Price: Rs 1,85,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi)


The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is a street naked motorcycle with a 40PS, 35Nm, 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It’s the most affordable bike in the 400cc segment in India.  It gets an LCD instrument console with connectivity features, riding modes, traction control, dual-channel ABS, and has adjustable brake and clutch levers. 

TVS iQube ST

Price: Rs 1,65,555 to Rs 1,85,373 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)

The TVS iQube ST is a family-oriented electric scooter. It is available with two battery pack options: 3.4kWh and 5.1kWh. The 3.4kWh variant offers a claimed range of 100km while the 5.1kWh battery pack variant offers a claimed range of 150km. The scooter gets a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display that has connectivity features, riding modes, navigation assist, and park assist. 

Royal Enfield Classic 350

Price: From Rs 1,93,080 up to Rs 2,30,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)


The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a household name when it comes to old-school bikes in India. The motorcycle has a timeless design. It gets a 20.4PS, 27Nm, 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The top-end variant gets dual-channel ABS, all-LED lighting, and a gorgeous  Emerald Green colour scheme. 

Hero XPulse 210

Price: Rs 1,75,800 to Rs 1,85,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi)


The Hero XPulse 210 is a dual-sport motorcycle. . It gets a brand-new chassis, and a 24.6PS, 20.7Nm, 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The top variant gets a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, and ABS modes, long-travel suspension at both ends, and an USB charging port.
